Brief history
The stud was established during the late eighteen hundreds. Amongst the many great horses bred by the Derby family at their Newmarket stud were Chaucer, Papyrus, Sansovino, Fairway, the mighty Hyperion, Alycidon and Swallow Tail.
Stanley House Stud caters for boarding mares.
Directions
At the Clock Tower roundabout follow the signs for Fordham/Ely (A142). After half a mile take a right-hand turn towards Snailwell (Snailwell Road). Continue for approximately 800 yards. Stanley House Stud is located on the left next to Pegasus Stables and opposite the Godolphin entrance.
The office is situated in the Main Yard.
