The Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association strives to safeguard the health and welfare of the Thoroughbred for the overall improvement of the breed. As a charity this includes delivering training and education opportunities to ensure best practice on stud farms, veterinary research to maintain highest health standards, and the encouragement of diversity within the breed for a stronger, more resilient Thoroughbred.
Membership of the TBA provides breeders, large and small, with support and guidance for their Thoroughbred breeding operations. The Association gives members access to events, seminars, legal advice and tax hotlines, employer support, health and safety guidance, buying group discounts, and race badge offers.More broadly, the TBA also represents the interests of all Thoroughbred breeders both within the industry and with Government.
All of this couldn’t be possible without your support. The TBA would like to thank all of those who contribute to the charity and its work. Whether through membership, sales levy, foal levy, event sponsorship, or grants and donations, the TBA is indebted to the kind generosity of the breeding and racing community. Your funds have enabled pioneering EHV vaccine research, studies on early pregnancy loss and parasitic worms, and the development of new training pathways to recruit and retain more people in the industry. The TBA is working towards a stronger future for the breed and breeders.
Thank you.
